*Only open to students enrolled in the 2023/24 or 2024/25 school years*

This time will serve the Beaver students from our Living School that wish to deepen their handwork skills during the summer. On our first day together we will identify a medium and skill that the child wants to focus on during the summer. This could be knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, embroidery, wet or needle felting. We will get them set up to work at home on these projects and then offer two additional camp days throughout the summer where we can support their work with problem solving and guidance while providing the opportunity for students to share what they have been learning at home.

Indigenous and ancient stories around land and plants and practices of gratitude will be interwoven into our week. Children will also be exposed to the simple foundations of fire, shelter, food, tools, and medicine that can be found, created and utilized in the wild.
